These terms govern all furniture repair, joinery adjustment and wood restoration services carried out by Clerkenwell Timber Repair. By booking a visit or approving a quote, you agree to these working terms.
These terms apply between Clerkenwell Timber Repair, located at 15 Clerkenwell Close, London, EC1R 0AA, and the client named on the service estimate. We provide skilled furniture repair, joint reglueing, surface refinishing and internal joinery services within Central and North London.
All quotes issued from photos are provisional until we inspect the timber in person. Once an on-site inspection is completed, we provide a fixed price quote. The job is booked once you confirm your acceptance in writing or by reply text message.
You agree to provide safe access to the furniture and adequate floor space with lighting and standard electrical sockets. If work cannot proceed due to blocked access or unsanitary conditions, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment.
Prices match the written estimate unless you request additional repairs on site. Payment is due strictly upon completion of the repair on the same day. We accept cash on completion or immediate bank transfer; we do not accept card payments.
You may cancel or reschedule without penalty up to 24 hours before the booked arrival window. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a £40 late cancellation charge to offset lost travel and workshop preparation time.
We carry two million pounds in public liability insurance. We take care around your interior spaces by laying protective floor mats. Any concern regarding the repaired woodwork must be brought to our attention within 14 days of completion so we can inspect and resolve the issue.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
